These adorable retro-inspired cropped a-line jackets are an xoxoBlythe exclusive. ^__^ I created the pattern after being inspired by this year's vintage-style trend. The jackets are lined in the bodice and feature a sweet Peter Pan collar, slight puffed short sleeves, with pleating detail on the front, rounded corner hem, and finished with a metallic button. All cotton fabric. Snap closure in front.

There will be matching sleeveless empire-waist dresses to go along with the jacket. The update will be this Saturday afternoon (time TBD). Please check my Flickr in the next few days for more details.

I just can't get enough of RBLs! I'm also really excited about the August 2009 Blythe which is called Punkaholic People. She has a black bob cut with bangs, and comes with an adorable outfit and guitar. I'm most likely going to pre-order her when she becomes available. [photo]

I'll be going on summer holiday soon, and aside from packing, I have to decide which girl to bring with me and how much dolly clothes to bring. This is always a dilemma as I now have (oops) 24 girls to think about.

I've been wanting to make one of those very stylish and hip slouchy hats for myself, but I always seem to have too many projects and never enough time. So it dawned on me this weekend: why not make some in Blythe size?

After making a prototype, I was ready to go! I am having so much fun knitting them right now. Plus I get to make more of the little crocheted flowers that I love so much. It's the only thing I know how to crochet, but boy do they come in handy! ^__^

After taking a long sewing break, I'm trying to slowly start again. I've been inspired by the fashion I've seen at Poupee Girl and drafted this dress from one of my favorites from there.

It's a simple long-sleeve denim dress. The bodice is lined. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. ^__^
